LOGOS
The cornerstone of any brand is the logo. It should be simple, memorable and begin to tell the story of who you are. If your logo is overly complicated it will be difficult to produce when embroidered, engraved, or printed in b&w.
Vertical Chiropractic
Vertical Chiropractic wanted a logo that featured the letter V in their name. The negative and positive space that creates the V also represents the segments of a spinal column. The blue square that contains the V is reminiscent of a hospital sign and conveys the idea of healthcare.
Stovebolt Brewery
The term Stovebolt refers to Chevrolet engines from 1929 to 1954.
The brewery was named in honor of that engine.
This logotype was designed to feel like the front grille of a Chevy from that time.
Traum Aquarium
Traum is the German word for dream. The negative and positive shapes form the image of two fish as well as an eye. The eye is a symbol for dreaming. The script type was chosen to help convey the feeling of water.
Splat Web Works
Logo for a web design company that wanted a retro look to help them stand out in a technical environment. The type and colors were chosen to provide that 50s look.
Texex Energy
This logo for a Texas energy company features an abstract longhorn in "Texas Orange". The negative spaces between the two Es and the letter X create arrows, or houses on their sides, symbols that represent what the company does. Most people probably won't make the connection, but it's a nice surprise if they do.
ProGreen
ProGreen specializes in artificial turf for residential and commercial clients.
The font was selected for its upscale look and the serifs provide a grasslike feel.
Shore Galleries
This logo for an indoor shooting range uses the negative space in the R to form a bullet shape.
The font is bold and italicized to show strength and speed.
